SCUMC Youth Ministry seeks to provide a place where young people can be introduced to and grow in their faith in Christ.  Alongside their peers on similar journeys, youth can find support and guidance from their Youth Leaders who organize and coordinate age-appropriate fun activities, Bible study, and service opportunities in a safe space of Christian fellowship.  Youth programs are offered for those in grades 6th – 12th.

Another great way for youth to grow in their faith is through experiences at Church Camp! Check out Camp Overlook just north of Harrisonburg, VA, a camp and retreat center sponsored by our UMC district!  Traditional overnight summer camp offerings for rising 4th – 12th graders, and special camps (still following the church camp program) including soccer camp, horse camp, Adventure Quest, and Night Flights!  Meet God on the mountain!
