What is the contact information for the church?

Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
(Note: The office is operated remotely on Mondays)
What are your current times for worship services?
In-person services are held on Sunday mornings:
8:30 a.m.
Traditional Worship in the main sanctuary
11:00 a.m.
Casual Contemporary Worship in the downstairs Fellowship Hall (Orrick Chapel)
If you wish to worship with us online, our 8:30 service is streamed LIVE on our Facebook page. You can also view past services on our Facebook page under the Videos tab, or on this website by checking out the ‘Learn’ tab, and clicking ‘Sermon Archive’.
Can anyone attend or what’s the procedure for attending the in-person service?
All are welcome – we love having visitors! Choose which worship style you like (8:30 Traditional or 11:00 Casual Contemporary) or try them both! At SCUMC you’ll find friendly people with servants’ hearts for the Lord.
What precautions is the church taking for COVID-19?
Masks are optional and left to the discretion of each individual according to their personal comfort level. Social distancing can be achieved but is not required – you may sit with whomever you wish.
If you are not feeling well, we encourage you to stay home and worship with us online.
How often do you have Communion?
We partake in the Sacrament of Communion on the first Sunday of each month as well as at other special services throughout the year (Christmas, Easter, etc.) United Methodists share an ‘open table’ which means that all who want to have a relationship with Jesus Christ are welcome to partake of Communion in our church.

How do I become a member of SCUMC?
We invite you to consider becoming a member of our church family. Membership in a church is really about discipleship – being a faithful follower of Christ. At SCUMC, members effectuate this profession through our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and our witness.
There are several ways one can join our church:
