Congregational Community Action Project (C-CAP) is a cooperative effort of religious communities in Winchester and Frederick County. They have unified to provide financial, material, and supportive assistance in a loving way to the needy in our community. C-CAP’s desire is to do God’s work in a world where many basic human needs are simply not met.
C-CAP offers a Food Pantry, a Clothing House, financial assistance, and has special giveaway events. There is always a need for volunteers to help in these endeavors as well as to donate items – there are C-CAP donation bins on both levels of our church located near the elevator.
Contact our C-CAP Representative, Jodi Klawans if you are interested in getting involved or have questions. You can also contact C-CAP directly at 540-662-4318 or check out their website for more info.
