- Worship is the central focus of what we do as Christians. It shapes
us as Christ's disciples, and challenges us to grow into the kind of
people God created us to become. Our goal in worship is to provide the
best possible opportunity for people to open their hearts and
experience the Living God.
- Traditional worship services are offered each Sunday morning at 8:30
and 11:00. We also offer a Contemporary service Sunday morning at 9:45
(follow the Contemporary link for
more detail).
- We follow the cycle of the Christian Year and usually follow the
Revised Common Lectionary, in an effort to pattern our time after
God's time, and to provide a balanced encounter with the scriptures.
Holy Communion, or Eucharist, is offered the first Sunday of each
month.
- Children's messages are offered each week, followed by a children's
worship experience., designed just for them. Nursery is provided for
the littlest disciples.
- Our music ministry greatly enhances our worship experience. We are
blessed with an extremely gifted organist, committed adult, youth,
children, and bell choirs. We are also often blessed with soloists
such as Michael Forest, (a veteran of the New York Metropolitan
Opera), and occasional guest string and brass ensembles.
