WATTS in December
Our ourtreach week will be of Dec. 20 - Dec. 26. Because our church is a low barrier facility, we setup our quarters in a building that is not involved in celebratory preparations. Choir Rehearsals
Rehearsals start in September. Join a choir today! Contact: Missy Allegra, Jacquetta Owen or David Renner. If you would like to make a donation for special music, checks can be made to: SCUMC, c/o Music Performance. Attention all 6th, 7th and 8th graders!
The Middle School Youth will be having its 2010 kickoff Sunday, August 29th at the church from 4:30 - 6:00. Come for games, food and fun. Wear something that can get wet. For more information contact Rocky Lorey. UMW Book Club and Reading Program
The book club will not meet in August but in September we will join the Winchester Community in reading To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. There are many wonderful books from the UMW Reading Program available for check out in room 104 (Pat's SS room). Any books read from the UMW Reading Program can be turned in for "credit." Please check with Adelle Gunn for forms/information on the Reading Program. Attention All Share Holders of the Senior High Youth Mission Trip
Please join us on Saturday, August 14th at 6:00 in the Fellowship Hall for dinner and a report from our youth of our mission trip to Swan Quarter, North Carolina. Electronic Newsletter
In order to reduce paper usage cost the Church is asking for members to indicate how they would like to receive the monthly newsletter (The Messenger). Members can receive it electronically or through the U.S. mail. Everyone is asked to complete the online sign-up form or a printed form located in the Sunday bulletin. The Messenger can now also be found on the Church website.
